I am on a road
I try to peer ahead
I cannot see very far
But I remember what You said.
You said, "Follow Me."
But didn't say to where
Sometimes it makes me wonder
If we're almost there.
You said it wouldn't be easy
But it would be worth it in the end
Others might leave me
But you would be my friend.
I wish that I could see
Where this road will go
You just smile and say
That I don't need to know.
It makes me think that maybe
The point is not the end
But the journey itself
Every hill, and every bend.

Love the poem! Yeah, I know. Only crazy Floridians who have no idea what they're getting themselves into would go to NY for the winter. lol :) but I'm definitely loving it here! It's snowing as of right now so I'm super excited!

Yeah! I would love to have you hear some of my stuff sometime! And I know just how you feel, sometimes you just CAN'T stop writing!
I love the poem, it's very well written. But I also had a suggestions. With words like 'friend' there's only a few obvious rhyming words. However, if you can find a rarer word that ends like with the 'end' sound, you can open your poems up to whole new routes. Or just try a visual rhyme, where it doesn't actually rhyme, it just looks it does!
But I really love the poem!
