A Transformation

A few weekends ago Anna and I helped out at a hair salon open house in celebration of their 10 year anniversary. Our job was to carry around trays of free product (shampoo, gel, lotion...) and hand them out to everybody that came. Anna with her tray.

Anna and I both got free haircuts for handing out the free product, so today we got them. Anna got bangs and thinks she looks like Lois Lane...

My Birthday Party

Teresa, Sarah, and I made most of the food the morning of the party. Anna helped halfway through, Emily was at work, and Mom was limping around the house or lying on the couch. (poor mom)My name card.

Anna is 13!!!

Anna turned 13 on Friday! We went to History class in the morning, and then picked Melanie up and went to a hair salon to get Anna's ears pierced. We got there a little early, so walked down to the cafe and got lollipops...kind of weird, but we did.

Mom made ice cream cake with mint chip ice cream. It was so good!

Dad got Anna a rose. I love the color, it's so cool.

You can always count on Emily to make a birthday card out of the number you're turning. It's becoming a tradition. :)

Anna with her loot. It think she has more earrings than I have! She got a bunch before her birthday, made a pair at a bead shop, and got three more when we came home. I hope she doesn't mind if a borrow a couple...

Mexican Fiesta

We went to a surprise Mexican fiesta party for Tonika yesterday. We all had to wear these flowers in our hair when we got there.

We had tacos for dinner and cheesecake for dessert.

We also did a craft where we made these notebook covers. They were all sewed togethere but we got to decorate them.

Em's grad party

Although the forecast said it would be raining all day, it didn't rain a drop! So that was a good thing. It was actually warm!

Josiah brought fireworks, and they were awesome! And then we did sparklers, which I love. :) And now we have a bunch of food leftover, so guess what we'll be having for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next week??? Ha! It was really fun though, and I think that Em had a good time too, which is always a plus.

Party!!!!!

Last night we went to Olivia's graduation party! It was so much fun. We did not leave till around 11:30 pm so we did not get home till around 12:30 am. I was so tired. I slept in today untill 12:30 pm! So I slept for like twelve hours! I woke up and figured out that Ab and I had not eaten a meal for 24 hours, beacuse we had just had smoothies for dinner since it was so hot! We were famished! It was kind of funny. It is also my brother's birthday today!

My Graduation Day!!!!!!

So it is now all over...I'M GRADUATED! hehe, it's feel amazing.:) I had a really awesome day. It all went really smoothly and I didn't fall apart in my speech. ha. it was all good. Now life is crazy with all the grad parties! yay! :D

Dino BBQ Party

This Saturday we drove up to Rochester to go to our cousin's wedding reception. They got married on some island earlier that week I think and then they had a party where we had the yummiest food ever!
Six of the cousins: Sarah, me, Emily, Isaac, Anna, and Chelsea.
Here was the yummy food from Dinosaur BBQ. We brought back a plate for Teresa because she couldn't make it...I'm not sure how much actually made it back to the house. Anna and I got a little hungry on the way back.
