The Lilac Festival
After the reception, we took Aunt Patti and Chelsea with us to the Lilac Festival. I'd never been before, but it was really fun! There was all these trails through the lilac bushes, and it smelled so good. We have two lilacs, and this year was the first year that there was actually enough so we could cut them.

Ooo, beautiful lilacs! And I believe that's a rhododendron Anna is standing next to.
I just realized I don't remember having seen any lilacs down here (NC) maybe they don't grow well down here?
The lilacs are lovely! I also like the not-a-lilac :)
