New Growth

Yesterday I worked in the garden for the first time (which is not my favorite thing to do). My job was to cut back a bunch of lemon balm that was overtaking everything else. Basically, the roots go everywhere, and you can't just pull one little part up. I used a shovel and had to jump on it for five minutes before it would cut through the mass of roots...not fun. I also mulched a little. Although I don't exactly like to weed and such, it is fun seeing new stuff coming up.
